Selection Procedure In ONGC
Step-1: The eligible candidate is required to appear in GATE-2015 Exam.
Step-2: Students with valid GATE SCORE CARD will call for Group Discussion.
Step-3: Final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Personal Interview.

A separate registration will be required for ONGC on their website www.ongcindia.com.
A valid GATE-2015 Registration number will be required to register with ONGC.
Candidate required applying for single post only. (Even they are eligible for two or more jobs).

General instruction for ONGC
- Students must remember to apply through online application process, no manual applications will entertain.
- Enter your correct GATE registration number while online application process.
- Request for change in mailing address will not considered once online application form submit.
- Admit Card with Overwriting will lead to cancelation in student registration.
- Candidate must keep their admit card and registration slip before final selection/result.
- Candidate can eligible to apply for single post only; even if he/she is eligible for multiple posts.
- Candidate must have essential qualification as mentioned in the above table.
- AMIE students are not eligible to apply for ONGC.
- Part time or distance education students may apply but their college/university must recognize by AIU/UGC/ACIET etc. from where they obtained their degree certificate.
- Final year students are eligible to apply for ONGC but they must bring their final degree certificate at the time of interview.
- Appointment of selected candidate is subject to medical examination as per ONGC law for their employees.
- Selected candidates are liable to be posted in anywhere in india or abroad.
- Any candidate submitted false/incorrect information shall be rejected at any stage of selection process.
