ELIGIBILITY IN GATE-2019 EXAM
To appear for GATE exam candidate must have any one of the following qualifications:
a) Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture and those who are in the final year or who have completed their degree on or before 2019.
b) Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture and those who are in the final year or who have completed their degree on or before 2019.
c) Candidates in (Post B.sc.) integrated master degree in Engineering/ Technology four year programmed is eligible but those candidates must complete their degree by the year 2020.
d) The students of the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree program and Dual Degree program in Engineering/Technology can also apply for GATE-2019 exam. But those candidates must complete their degree on or before 2019.
e) Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
If you possess any qualification equivalent to the above, still then you are eligible to apply for GATE-2019.
Note:
1. GATE Aspirant who has a backlog in any subjects should upload mark sheet of final semester or obtain deceleration of principal from their respective college or institute.
2. Final year students also mandatory to obtain deceleration of principal from their institution to complete the online application process.
GATE-2019 ONLINE APPLICATION FEE
For GATE Exam 2019 application fees can be paid online through Net Banking of banks. The payments through Debit Card/Credit Card and e-challan will also be accepted. Any additional payment/transfer charges applicable as per bank rules will be incurred by the applicants only.

GATE-2019 Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)
GOAPS is an official online user interface that lets a candidate interact with the GATE officials. GOAPS stand for GATE Online Application Processing System. The portal is used by both the students and the GATE officials. Candidate needs to register an account with GOAPS which is free.

Apply for the GATE 2019 examination online.
Submit all required photograph, signature and other documents including your graduation certificate and any other applicable certificate by uploading a scanned copy for the same.
Online payment of GATE exam application fees.
Pay the application fee through net-banking.
Check the Status of your application form.
Check your Admit Card.
Download your Admit Card.
Make a request for any amendments/corrections in Admit card (if any).
Contact the Zonal GATE Offices to get help with any queries/problems.
Check your answers sheet, marks, and GATE score.
Golden Tips While Submitting Online Application for GATE-2019

Use a valid/working E-Mail ID and Mobile Number while registering an account with GOAPS for GATE Exam 2019. As all the information and notifications will be sent at these only.
Make sure you remember your Enrollment ID and password, better to keep it save in written or in your mobile.
For security purpose, it’s recommended never share your personal information and identity proofs and any login credentials with your friends or anyone.
You are bound to provide accurate personal & educational information while applying for GATE 2019. Any inaccurate/dubious information can result in application rejection.
Upload your high-resolution passport size photo with white background.
Make safe the ID proof that you have uploaded while applying online for the GATE exam 2019 as the same you have to produce in the examination hall. Carry this ID proof while going to sit in the exam.
Keep ready your ID proofs, photo, certificates/degree scanned copies, credit/debit/I-collect/I-connect details in hand ahead of starting the online application process.
