Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), set up by the Government of India under the Administrative Ministry of Communication & IT, Department of Telecommunications for the establishment, management and operation of National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN). BBNL has been incorporated on 25-02-2012 as a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) / Company under the Companies Act, 1956 having Corporate Identity No: U64100DL2012GOI232070 with an Authorised Share Capital of Rs. 1000 Cr.

Selection Procedure For BBNL
Step-1: The eligible candidate is required to appear in GATE-2015 Exam.
Step-2: Students with valid GATE SCORE CARD will call for personal interview.
Step-3: Final Merit list will be prepared as per following weightage:

- A valid GATE-2015 Registration number will be required to register with BBNL.

General instructions for BBNL
- Students must remember to apply through online application process, no manual applications will entertain.
- Enter your correct GATE registration number while online application process.
- Request for change in mailing address will not considered once online application form submit.
- Admit Card with Overwriting will lead to cancelation in student registration.
- Candidate must keep their admit card and registration slip before final selection/result.
- Candidate must have essential qualification as mentioned in the above table.
- Final year students are eligible to apply for BBNL but they must bring their final degree certificate at the time of interview.
- Any candidate submitted false/incorrect information shall be rejected at any stage of selection process.
- The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement a bond in the prescribed format on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100/- (One Hundred) to serve in company for a period of 2 years from the dated of their joining including the probation period. The amount of the bond is INR 2,00,000/-.
